A step-by-step guide for admins to enable automatic message translation in Discord channels using Auto Translate Bot.

🔧 Set Up Auto-Translation Channels

Want your Discord server to be more welcoming for international members? With Auto Translate Bot, you can automatically translate messages in specific channels or even across your whole server.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Add Auto Translate Bot to Your Server

Invite the bot and make sure it has the necessary permissions to read and send messages in the channels you want to translate.

  2. Configure Auto-Translation Channels

    Use the

    /channel
command to open the channel management menu. Add the channels you want to auto-translate and select the target languages. You can remove or view configured channels at any time with the same command.

  3. Enable Global Translation (Optional)

    Use the

    /server
command to access the server control panel. Enable global translation if you want all messages in your server to be translated to selected languages.

  4. Customize Translation Style

Choose between different display styles (webhook, minimalist) in the

    /server
settings. Set up auto-delete timers for translation messages if desired.

Tips
  • You can combine channel and global translation for maximum flexibility.

  • Only admins can change these settings.
